This is a Triptych of decorated oyster shells featuring a copy of my original watercolour painting of the iconic Guinness bottle.
I sign each piece, making it a special and beautiful gift or a lovely wall decoration for your home.
The individual shapes of these real oyster shells make each artwork unique, with their dips, shadows, and textures adding to the piece’s dramatic feel. The shells have a pearlescent finish that reflects light, offering a different perspective at every viewing angle.
Each artwork is one-of-a-kind partly because of the varying size and shape of each shell. As a result, the way the image is positioned and displayed, along with the visible part of it, will vary from piece to piece, enhancing its interest and uniqueness.
The frame size is approximately 9″ x 7″, which can be free-standing or wall-mounted.

We believe that every shell has a tale to tell. Our oysters are from the west coast of Ireland, picked from the waters of the world-famous “Galway Bay” part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
Shells are genuinely one-of-a-kind gifts because no two are alike. They are tumbled by the wild Atlantic Ocean waves and shaped by the changing seasons, resulting in varying sizes and shapes. We work with what nature has given us. Variations such as; growth marks, ragged edges, chipped backs, and barnacles make each one special.
Every shell is individually picked, cleaned, prepared, hand-painted and decorated by our artists at our studio in Galway, Ireland.
